Day by Day
Day 1 - Arrival in Lima
Arrival in Lima. Your private host will be waiting to accompany you to your airport hotel.
Day 2 - Fly to Cusco & Cycle the Sacred Valley
Fly to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. From Taray, cycle off-road along a scenic route parallel to the Vilcanota River, arriving in Huayllabamba where transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
Day 3 - Peruvian Paso Horses: Maras to Moray
Ride the famed Peruvian Paso horses from the village of Maras - with its remarkable ancient salt ponds - across to the extraordinary circular terraces of Moray. A picnic lunch beneath the snow-capped peaks of the valley en route.
Day 4 - Rock Climbing & Skylodge Zip-line
Adventure day in the Sacred Valley. After a safety briefing with expert guides, ascend a vertical rock face to reach the iconic transparent pods of Skylodge Adventure Suites - a one-of-a-kind lunch 400 metres above the valley floor with breathtaking panoramic views. Then, an exhilarating zip-line descent down six wires back to earth.
Day 5 - Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Lace up the boots. After a short train ride, begin the trek into the mountains along the Urubamba Valley. Rest at a beautiful waterfall, explore the spectacular ruins of Wiñay Wayna, and after a boxed lunch on the trail, climb to the Sun Gate - Inti Punku - for your first sight of Machu Picchu spread below.
Day 6 - Machu Picchu: Full Exploration
A day at the citadel with your expert private guide - the history, the myths, the architecture. An optional limited-entry hike to the higher vantage points for panoramic views that will stay with you for life. Scenic train return to Cusco in the evening.
Day 7 - Cusco
The Imperial City on foot - Q'orikancha, the Cathedral's Cusqueñan Last Supper, the colourful San Pedro market, and the arts of San Blas. In the afternoon, the great fortress of Sacsayhuamán above the city.
Day 8 - Cooking Class & Leisure in Cusco
A private cooking class in the kitchen of a renowned local restaurant - local ingredients, traditional techniques, and a meal to enjoy at the end. The afternoon is yours to explore Cusco at your own pace.
Day 9 - Lima & Departure
A late-morning flight to Lima and an afternoon in the bohemian Barranco district - colourful murals, contemporary galleries, and a stop at the romantic Puente de los Suspiros. Private transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
